Festival Terms & Image Release

Gallery participation
By joining a festival gallery alert, you authorize LENS to store contact information and associate it with the festival date or photograph reference you provide. Gallery-display permission allows relevant images to be displayed for proofing and purchase.
Optional promotional permission
Promotional use is optional. If selected, you grant LENS a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, edit, crop, publish, and display the submitted or associated image, likeness, and approved story in LENS portfolios, websites, social media, festival promotion, and advertising. Declining does not prevent gallery access or purchase.
Stories
You confirm that a submitted story is yours to share, does not knowingly violate another person's rights, and may be edited for spelling, clarity, or length without intentionally changing its meaning.
Minors
A parent or legal guardian must sign for anyone under 18 and confirms authority to grant the selected permissions.
Electronic signature and records
Typing your legal name indicates intent to sign electronically. LENS records the selected permissions, agreement version, and submission time.
Copyright, screenshots, and unauthorized downloads
All photographs, gallery previews, designs, and written content remain protected by copyright. Unless LENS provides an express written license, visitors may not screenshot, screen-record, copy, scrape, save, download, reproduce, remove a watermark from, alter, distribute, publish, train an automated system with, or commercially exploit any image. Gallery access is permission to view and select images—not permission to capture or reuse them. LENS may suspend access and pursue available remedies for unauthorized use.
Purchases and licensed image use
Public and proofing images may be watermarked and reduced in resolution. Buying a session, print, or web-size sharing file does not transfer copyright or automatically authorize reproduction elsewhere. A purchased personal print release permits the named customer to print only the specifically licensed full-resolution image or gallery for personal display and gifts. It does not permit resale, advertising, commercial use, sublicensing, filters, substantial alteration, removal of authorship information, or transfer of copyright. Commercial use requires a separate written license. Product descriptions, fulfillment terms, and refund rules shown at checkout control the purchase.
Changes and requests
You may request that optional future promotional use stop. A request cannot always reverse printed materials or posts already distributed. LENS may remove unlawful, abusive, or unrelated submissions.
